Highway #1 Saskatchewan Photobook
For my Capstone Project at the University of Regina, I created Highway #1: Saskatchewan Photobook, a photography book that takes readers on a journey through Saskatchewan along Trans-Canada Highway #1. Drawing on over ten years of living in the province, I focused on capturing its hidden visual gems — from sweeping landscapes to the unique character of its communities. The project merges photography and graphic design, using research and storytelling to highlight the province’s charm and invite readers to explore its vibrant culture. Over the course of the project, I researched key locations along the 653-kilometer highway, refined imagery through careful post-editing, and selected design elements that reflect the essence of Saskatchewan. Feedback from peers and mentors shaped the narrative, helping me create a cohesive and engaging visual experience.
